Embedded Access Training Programme

30 January 2026

Disrupt were delighted to receive funding from Rethink Ireland’s Disability and Participation Awareness Fund 3.0 to upskill over 45 access personnel across Ireland in a wide array of creative and embedded access skillsets.

This support has enabled Disrupt to deliver the next three workshops as part of the 2026 festival’s extended programme:

Creative Captions Workshop

A collage of 2 images, a headshot for the workshop facilitators Ben Glover and Daniel Hughes. Ben in the top left looks toward the camera with a smile. Daniel in the second image stands outside near a stonewall and looks away from the camera smiling.

Visual Movement Workshop

An action shot of Chisato Minamimura in their performance of ‘Mark of a Woman’. They are wearing a white linen outfit, warm toned. Behind them we see a video projection, cool toned and showing a large circle that looks like a lanscape scene within and some lines across the screen.

Embedded Access Workshop

We see a promotional image for Stopgapp’s work ‘Lived Fiction’. A stage scene only lit by yellow spotlights from behind. In the foreground the only thing stopping the light, we see a person, angelic like, they are a wheelchair user and the light shines through in shapes.
